Fancy taking a step out of that armchair and going on your own adventure? At the Armchair Adventure Festival you'll have the chance to do exactly that! With 7km of pristine coastline and miles of fantastic mountain biking and walking trails within the grounds, there will be loads to get involved with. Last time, the activities went down a storm and at AAF22 there will be even more to choose from! See below for what activities are already confirmed.

Bounty's End is a replica boat that was featured in Channel 4's Mutiny series that saw 8 volunteers including Conrad Humphreys and Ant Middleton recreate the 1789 voyage of Captain William Bligh.

Bounty is now MCA coded and able to take small groups of people out on the water for some micro adventures. Conrad will taking groups out on the water to explore Drake's Island and some of the jewels of Plymouth Sound.

Explore the stunning woodland that surrounds The Armchair Adventure Festival and follow trails that were designed specifically for mountain bikes! Festival goers will be able to hire out bikes completely for free, what better way to take in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that surrounds the event.

Head to the Island Feather tent for a morning yoga class before your day of adventure. Their experienced instructors are passionate about finding freedom in the outdoors, in breath and in movement. Pack your yoga mat and take your pick from our Wake Up Flow, Power Yoga or Gentle Yoga and Meditation classes.

All the fun of the beach! Why not head to the beach that is literally a 5 minute walk from the main festival area. You'll be able to take a Kayak out, explore the stunning coastline or even think about making your way towards Drake's Island.

Why not try paddle boarding at the festival? You may well find yourself doing it next to Dolphins... It sounds a little too good to be true but at the last festival, we struggled to find anyone who went paddle boarding that didn't find themselves paddling alongside one! Next year who knows, it may be whales alongside you!

Last year we had a fair few of you ask if you could ride one of the Alpacas that live on our festival site, well, the answer is still a firm no!... but this year, you can trek with them! At #AAF23 we're offering Alpaca experiences! You'll get the chance to explore the park with one of it's particularly woolly residents. Taking Henry, Harry, Illustrious or Courtland out for a potter will be a premium activity as these divas charge for their time but as with all of the activities, we'll make it as affordable as possible.

Ever fancied finding out how to forage for your own food? Well it's one of the things we're most excited about for the festival. We've teamed up with the Family Foraging Kitchen and founder Vix Hill-Ryder will be doing a talk on her 'Life eating from the Land' before taking people to explore 'The Wild Edibles of September.' You won't want to miss it!

Definitely one for the adrenaline junkies attending this years festival. Coasteering has become one of the most thrilling, exciting ways to explore coastlines in recent years and if you fancy cliff jumping your way in to #AAF22 then why not give this a go!

With so many adventurous activities going on we thought it was important to add a bit more luxury. The Island Feather team are back this year and in addition to yoga their expert Physio or Oesteo Therapists will offer you one of their expert treatments, bespoke to your requirements, offering you optimal muscle health, whilst relaxing your body and mind

AAF hosts Matt and Reece have recently become brand representatives for URAL in the UK. as a result, you'll have the opportunity to try find out what it's like being a passenger in the ultimate sidecar experience whilst exploring the stunning views of Mount Edgcumbe and if you think you like the experience, you may want to learn to ride one yourself at The Sidecar Guys Ural Experience Centre based in the North East.

All the above activities are confirmed for #AAF22 and more will be released soon so keep an eye out. Tickets are on sale now, grab yours via the link below.

Michelle will support you with any ideas you have and bring a couple of different examples that will inspire you or that you can copy. A book is included with the workshop price but if you have time you can make more than one. Spare books will be available to buy.

Join local Coppersmith Nicky Sadler who will guide you through the process of using lightweight copper sheeting and simple tools to produce a "3D" effect image on the copper.

A selection of designs will be provided for you to choose from including the AAF23 logo to help you remember your time at this fab festival!

Once the design has been worked onto the copper, we will apply the patina which is an interesting and rather magical process. The panel will then be completed and given a coat of wax polish.

The results are amazing resulting in a beautiful copper hanging for your home.
