Fancy taking a step out of that armchair and going on your own adventure? At the Armchair Adventure Festival you'll have the chance to do exactly that! With 7km of pristine coastline and miles of fantastic mountain biking and walking trails within the grounds, there will be loads to get involved with. Last time, the activities went down a storm and at AAF22 there will be even more to choose from! See below for what activities are already confirmed.

Bounty's End is a replica boat that was featured in Channel 4's Mutiny series that saw 8 volunteers including Conrad Humphreys and Ant Middleton recreate the 1789 voyage of Captain William Bligh.

Bounty is now MCA coded and able to take small groups of people out on the water for some micro adventures. Conrad will taking groups out on the water to explore Drake's Island and some of the jewels of Plymouth Sound.

Explore the stunning woodland that surrounds The Armchair Adventure Festival and follow trails that were designed specifically for mountain bikes! Festival goers will be able to hire out bikes completely for free, what better way to take in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that surrounds the event.

AAF hosts Matt and Reece have recently become brand representatives for URAL in the UK. as a result, you'll have the opportunity to try find out what it's like being a passenger in the ultimate sidecar experience whilst exploring the stunning views of Mount Edgcumbe and if you think you like the experience, you may want to learn to ride one yourself at The Sidecar Guys Ural Experience Centre based in the North East.

All the fun of the beach! Why not head to the beach that is literally a 5 minute walk from the main festival area. You'll be able to take a Kayak out, explore the stunning coastline or even think about making your way towards Drake's Island.

Why not try paddle boarding at the festival? You may well find yourself doing it next to Dolphins... It sounds a little too good to be true but at the last festival, we struggled to find anyone who went paddle boarding that didn't find themselves paddling alongside one! Next year who knows, it may be whales alongside you!

Wild Swimming is a sport that has exploded in popularity over the past 12 months. At the festival, each morning you'll be able to unzip your tent, take a short walk down to the beach and head off on a wild swim. There really is no better way to start the day and if the night before you ended up in 'The Three Wheels pub' a little longer than expected, then it's going to be the perfect hangover cure!

Head to the Island Feather tent for a morning yoga class before your day of adventure. Their experienced instructors are passionate about finding freedom in the outdoors, in breath and in movement. Pack your yoga mat and take your pick from our Wake Up Flow, Power Yoga or Gentle Yoga and Meditation classes.

Yes, you can even sauna at The Armchair Adventure Festival! It was one of the highlights of AAF21 and it makes perfect sense, after a full on day of adventure what better way to relax then going for a sauna taking a little bit of time to yourself. We've teamed up with The British Sauna Society for this one and they teach people how to truly get the most out of a sauna experience.

We've teamed up with the Family Foraging Kitchen and founder Vix Hill-Ryder will be doing a talk on her 'Life eating from the Land' before taking people to explore 'The Wild Edibles of September.' You won't want to miss it!

All the above activities are confirmed for AAF22 and there are plenty more to come so keep an eye out. In the mean time you explore whats going on in all the other zones at the festival and why not grab your super early bird tickets that are on sale now.
