Making The Armchair Adventure Festival COVID-19 Safe

It is a little over a week until the festival gates open for the first in-person Armchair Adventure Festival and we cannot wait to see you. In the build up to the event, there will be a few comms sent out that if you are heading to the festival, you may want to keep an eye on. The first of these is regarding COVID-19.

We have taken the decision to ask anyone attending the festival to provide evidence of double vaccination or a negative lateral flow test. This will need to be presented on arrival and any tests will need to have been taken within 48 hours. Cases remain high throughout the country and with it being one of the UK's tourist hot spots, Cornwall in particular has seen a significant level of cases throughout the summer. With this in mind, we feel it is our responsibility to limit the possibility of COVID-19 being in circulation at the event. There are also a number of people attending who would be considered high risk and this, we hope, will be a way of them feeling more comfortable at the event.

If you have any questions feel free to get in touch. We will also have lateral flow tests available at the festival if you are unable to do one before, though you will not be allowed inside the main festival area until you have done one of these.

We appreciate your understanding with this and don't worry, any future comms will all be centred around the excitement and festival fever that is to come in the build up to the event!
