A new space dedicated to the best adventure travel films at AAF!

We're adding a brand new feature to this year's festival - The Armchair Adventure Cinema!
We've lined up two epic looking giant Nordic Tipi's to house this new feature which is 100% dedicated to showing the best independently made adventure travel films. It will have a big screen with capacity for more than a hundred armchair adventurers to kick back and watch the best films from the world of adventure travel! So pack your popcorn and get ready to watch films like these:

Alpha plus a live Q&A with Ed Jackson
The film follows three young men with life changing spinal cord injuries as they make an attempt to cross Vatnajokull, the largest ice cap in Western Europe. Linked together by a single rope and without any support or guidance, they embark on the journey as a united team.
One was an adventurer, one a professional rugby player, and one a soldier and a mountaineer. As they travel across this unforgiving land, we are offered an insight into their individual stories and explore what it is to be ‘a man’ in the modern world.
Featuring Niall McCann, Ed Jackson and Darren Edwards. Directed by Matt Pycroft.
If you were lucky enough to watch Niall McCann's incredible talk at AAF24, you'll know just how good this film will be...

Alone Across Gola by Jude Kriwald!
Jude is an award-winning adventure travel filmmaker who recently completed a 3 month cycling expedition across West Africa. The film documents his journey pushing, carrying, and dragging his 53kg bike through the trackless Gola rainforest in Liberia. This film is an absolute belter and better still, Jude will be joining us for a live Q&A afterwards!
These two films are just a taster of what to expect. Don't miss this great new feature and grab your tickets here.
