New Free Workshops at #AAF24

We're excited to say that at this year's Armchair Adventure Festival there will be more opportunities to explore the beautiful Mount Edgcumbe Country Park than ever before.

We've just confirmed that there will be three new activities available and they will all be included in your ticket price! All three of these exciting new activities will be led by Rhoda Watkins who is an accomplished tracker, seasoned naturalist and daring adventurer! Rhoda has led expeditions through Costa Rica, the Kalahari Desert and now she will be leading you on expeditions through Mount Edgcumbe Country Park as she shares her wealth of knowledge on how to better connect with nature!

Here are the sessions:

Tracking

Humans or animals! This truly unique workshop will give you an insight into the fascinating science of tracking! You'll immerse yourself in the captivating world of wilderness skills as Rhoda takes you on an active workshop learning how to track around Mount Edgcumbe Country Park!

Foraging

Is there anything better than the idea of foraging for your dinner? Rhoda is going to give you the skills to do exactly that! Well, if not a full dinner maybe a cup of nettle tea! This fascinating workshop will give you a great understanding of what you can forage in the Great British Countryside!

Nature Immersion

Take a wild walk through the beautiful Mount Edgcumbe Country Park and immerse yourself in nature in this nature immersion session with Rhoda! You'll play some nature awareness games along the way and really explore the beautiful Rame Peninsula!

All of these fantastic workshops and tonnes more are included in the price of your AAF ticket! Bookings for sessions and activities will open much closer to the time but if you haven't got your tickets already then grab them ASAP as this year's event will be a sell out!
