**This is a free activity and included in your festival ticket but spaces are limited so please reserve a space for this activity on the link below** Welcome to the wild weaving workshops offered by Lorraine and Stevie England at the Armchair Adventure Festival Lorraine and Stevie live on the Rame Penninsula (not far from Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park). They are both retired but manage a small 4 acre native woodland. Both have a background in teaching alongside other professional skills and enjoy passing on their knowledge of traditional craft skills to others. They will be at the Armchair Adventure offering demonstrations on “wild weaving” techniques including : - Weaving with sticks - Peg loom weaving - Circular weaving - Lucetting (an ancient Viking skill of weaving cordage) They will be using foraged and recycled materials and Stevie's handmade Lucets will be available for purchase Schedule: Saturday 10:30am, 1:30pm, 4:30pm Duration: 1hr Meet Point: Adventure Skills Stage Session Price: Included with your festival ticket Max 20 participants per session.
