THE ARMCHAIR ADVENTURE CATCH UP CINEMA
Welcome to The Armchair Adventure Catch Up Cinema. The Armchair Adventure Festival was founded in April 2020 and since we've been live in peoples living rooms for over and over again. In that time, we've heard some truly unique, adventurous stories from people all across the globe. From Charley Boorman of Long Way fame to Natalia Cohen, part of the first all female crew to row the pacific, we've been truly spoilt when it comes to people who have been on our virtual stage . The Catch Up Cinema is here in case you fancy a break from the other parts of Bootcamp and instead fancy browsing through some of our favourites since April 2020. You can check them out below.
OUR TOP PICK FROM THE
VERY FIRST AAF
One of our favourites from the first Armchair Adventure Festival was Claudio Von Planta's Q&A with Billy Ward. Not only did he chat about his experiences within the Long Way series. But he also shared stories of an incredible life involving journalism. Check it out here.
LAND, SEA AND PETROL PANEL
One of our favourite ever panels. We put peoples questions to three different types of adventures, an ocean rower, hiker and adventure motorcyclist. See what they had to say for yourself!
NOTIERS FRONTIERS LOCKDOWN IN UGANDA
Where were you for the first lockdown? Notiers Frontiers found themselves in Uganda and it made for one hell of a story!
RUNNING THE AMERICAS
Jamie Ramsay has been an AAF favourite ever since the first virtual event. He was a headline speaker at the first in person festival. And it all stemmed from his first ever talk about running the americas. Check it out here.
THE OVERLANDING THEN AND NOW PANEL
People have been travelling the world by motorcycle for years now and we've been lucky enough to speak with many of them. On this panel we discussed how things had changed over the years for better and for worse.
THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE WINTER AAF
Our favourite from the winter AAF. Kirk Williams story and how started impact overland.
