Make #AAF22 the ultimate summer staycation
Extend your trip with an early camping add on.
Have you been thinking that you'd love to come to The Armchair Adventure Festival 2022 but Cornwall is just too far for a weekend? Well, now you can join us for a five-night mini break! For just £149 (£119 for a festival pass plus £30 for early camping access), your week could look like this:
Tuesday 20th September
Drive, ride or take public transport down to our beautiful location at Mount Edgcumbe Country Park. Pitch up your tent or park up your camper from 15:00 and start enjoying this beautiful Grade 1 listed country park. Take a stroll through the Deer Park, enjoy the views and then join us for hog roast, a few drinks an adventure film in the festival area.
Wednesday 21st September
Hike across the country park and head to the beautiful Cawsand Bay. Enjoy all the fun of the beach, grab a corker of a Cornish pasty locally and then head back to the festival site for a banging pizza from Pandemania and another fantastic, starlight adventure film screening.
Thursday 22nd September
Explore the grounds of Mount Edgcumbe Country park. Maybe have afternoon tea at the Orangery or take the passenger ferry to Royal William Yard across the water. Make sure your back onsite for 15:00, ready to sit in your camping chair feeling smug, having already set up camp in the best spot as our other festival guests arrive. Dig into some tasty food as our other food vendors arrive on site and get ready to dance the night away with the Datura Roots Collective on the main stage as the festival officially opens!
Friday 23rd September
With the festival now in full swing, the options for Friday are endless. Join a tandem kayaking tour and explore Drake's Island or keep watch for dolphins on a sailing boat trip with Conrad Humprhey's before hearing from our incredible speakers on the stages and some truly funky live music in the evening with performances from the Cabarats and Malavita!
Saturday 24th September
Maybe try something new with a spoon carving, foraging or even an Alpaca experience? Visit our fab exhibitors on Adventure Avenue and then kickback with some live podcasting around the campfire with Bruce Smart (AKA TeaPot One). Don't miss our headline speakers on the main stage with talks from Charlie Walker and Rosie Swale-Pope and then get ready for one last night of dancing with Martin Harley and the incredible Andy Quick Band!
Sunday 25th September
A final dip in the ocean, a quick yoga session or maybe a massage and then hit the road, ready for work on Monday having made the best use of your annual leave possible and had one hell of a staycation in Cornwall!
Join us by grabbing your early-camping add on pass and festival pass here. Early camping access is only available to weekend camping pass holders and less than 40 places remain.
